Jeffrey Fuchs

I have been making furniture and turning wood into bowls and sculptures since 2000. I use mostly northwest woods such as walnut, maple, alder, cherry, juniper, redwood, and any other salvaged wood I can get my hands on.

A lot of my work has pewas (butterflies) used to fix and celebrate cracks and features naturally found in wood. I love organic shapes that flow like nature. I take tremendous joy in picking up a bowl that feels good in my hands and looking at a particular shape that draws my eyes to it. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy making it.
